I'm not a chocolate fan at all, but why didn't anyone tell me it wards off preeclampsia?! I would have been devouring the chocolate my whole pregnancy!
I just love how the two things I didn't want - a c-section and preeclampsia - I ended up getting. Funny how that works out, eh? I took most of the strips off my incision today. There are still two there that I just couldn't bring myself to take off. *shudder*
There's a very squirmy three week old baby boy laying next to me. He needs to learn that it's sleepy time during the 3 am hour. Or hell, from the midnight-7:00 hours. HAH! That'll never happen :-P
I got the giggles tonight. It's coming from sleep deprivation. Daniel told me to feed the baby and go to bed and... here I am almost 4 hours later and I've already been up for over an hour! Woo hoo, newborns!
But now there are two beautiful sleeping boys next to me, so I'm going to take that cue and try to follow :-)

Quick little update, as I'm still at the hospital!
They started Pitocin around noon. Contractions are the worst things ever and when I finally got the epidural.. that was a HUGE relief. Oh man it was nice. Anyway, we started pushing soon after the Tigers game.. pushed for two hours and it was confirmed his head was stuck at my pelvic bone.
I knew I had to have a C-section and I cried as soon as one of the doctor's confirmed it.
Benjamin Alexander was born at 3:26 am on Tuesday, April 8, at 8 lbs even and 21 inches long, and 3 weeks early. Can you imagine how big he would have been if I made it to 40 weeks??
Anyway, he has a bit of jaundice and is under the lights today. My blood pressure is still somewhat high, and then they had to give me a blood transfusion last night. But it's okay, I guess.
I'm hurting, of course, but I'm ready to go home. Tomorrow.
But I need to get off of here, I'll have more details later on!
My amazing little man. He looks just like his daddy.

I'm not going into any details, because it breaks my heart. My mom called this morning and told me Bucky wouldn't come out of the bushes and he was breathing funny.
Long story short, we got him in my car, took him to the vet, and my mom came back out empty-handed.
My heart is broken and I can't stop crying. I just feel like a terrible pet owner. At least when he saw me today, even if he didn't pick his head up, he wagged his tail a little bit.
RIP my Bucky
